Bristol law firm VWV’s training partner Tabitha Cave has won the coveted LawCareers.net Best Training Principal award in recognition of her support to the firm's legal training programme.
The award was presented on the results of a survey of more than 2,300 trainee and newly-qualified solicitors.
It is the first time LawCareers.net’s Training & Recruitment Awards – known as the TARAs – have included a category for best training principal.
The judges said the award was "for an exceptional lawyer who displays talents across numerous sectors. They need to be approachable, friendly and take an active interest in all trainees. This is balanced with an extremely demanding and time consuming role – no easy task!”
Tabitha said: "The quality of the VWV training programme, and of our trainees, is vital to support the future of the firm.
“I was delighted to receive this award, which recognises the effort we all put in to our training programme. We keep our programme under regular review and feedback from our trainees is essential to this process."
