Regional law firm Wards Solicitors has opened an office in Thornbury as it continues its expansion across the South West.
The firm, which employs more than 80 legal specialists, now has 13 offices in and around Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
The Thornbury office, in the town’s High Street, is operating in line with the current Covid-19 restrictions.
It offers legal advice to individuals and business owners in area including family law and divorce, Wills, trusts and probate, conveyancing, dispute resolution and personal injury as well as commercial property, insolvency issues and employment for SMEs.
Wards partner and head of conveyancing Rebecca Stuart, who is based in the new branch, said: “We have many existing clients in the Thornbury area – relationships that often go back years including generations of families and long-standing businesses.
“Thornbury is a natural location for us and we wanted an office that would be easy for people to find and access.
“It’s a really exciting time for Wards Solicitors and continues our drive to bring specialist, one-stop shop legal advice to the heart of the communities in which we work.
“We are really looking forward to welcoming clients in person to our new Thornbury office as soon as the rules allow. Face-to-face contact is really important to us and is at the core of how we have always worked.”
Wards offices in central Bristol, Henleaze, Bradley Stoke, Yate, Staple Hill, Keynsham, Portishead, Nailsea, Clevedon, Worle and Weston-super-Mare are committed to being part of their community and often organise events such as drop-in legal sessions at libraries as well as fundraising for local charities.
