A major refurbishment of key areas in a prime Bristol city centre office building has been completed despite significant restrictions caused by the Covid pandemic.
The work at One Castlepark on Tower Hill included a new-look entrance with new signage and planters, a complete reconfiguration of its reception area with tea point and new floors and updating the lift lobbies on all floors. 
New shower and cycle facilities have also been installed in the building, whose tenants include law firm Irwin Mitchell, recruitment company Heat and retirement wealth planning investment platform James Hay Partnership.
The £345,000 project was completed by the building consultancy division of property agency Knight Frank and Bristol construction group Lancer Scott to designs by Canncreative, a creative commercial interior design consultancy based in Peterborough.
Knight Frank, which is also the letting agent for the prominent seven-storey, 76,000 sq ft building, was appointed to oversee the project by landlord Circle Property, which has owned it for 10 years.
The work is the latest update to the building and follows refurbishment of its north wing to create 7,000 sq ft of high-quality, open plant office accommodation. 
Alex Cary, a surveyor in Knight Frank’s building consultancy team in Bristol, said: “The refurbishment has enhanced the working environment for occupiers in the building, which now also offers a bright, efficient welcome to those arriving.”
Knight Frank partner in the office agency team Martin Booth added: “One Castlepark is a true multi-let building, popular with occupiers due to its accessibility to Temple Meads and the wide ranging amenities of Cabot Circus, Castle Park and Finzels Reach.”
Office suites from 4,898 to 11,830 sq ft are available to let in the building, which is opposite Castle Park View, the 26-storey, 375-apartment tower that will be Bristol’s tallest residential building once it is completed.
