Four graduate surveyors in the Bristol office of international property consultancy Avison Young have gained chartered status, passing their Assessment of Professional Competence in what has been a challenging year. 
As a result, building surveyor Joanna Murray, pictured right, and commercial surveyors William Shortall, pictured below left, and Louis Maxwell, pictured below right, have successfully become members of RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).
Town planner Eliott Kelly, pictured below left, also becomes a member of the RTPI (Royal Town Planning Institute).
Passing these technical exams takes two years of study and professional training, leading to chartered status and membership of the professional institutes.
Young Bristol managing director Jo Davis said: “Congratulations to our four graduates who, following valuable work experience and training within Avison Young, have passed their professional exams.
“These exams demand the highest levels of competency and added to the fact that they completed their studies during an exceptionally challenging year within the industry, we’re so proud of all four and wish them well for their future careers.
