Boston Tea Party, the Bristol-based coffee shop chain launched by serial entrepreneur Giles Clarke, has opened its ninth outlet.
The group, which started in 1996, has restored and renovated the 700-year-old Grade I-listed former George Inn in Salisbury, creating 20 jobs.
Managing director Sam Roberts said: "We are thrilled to have opened in such a vibrant and interesting city as Salisbury and are particularly excited to be involved with this important building.
"We have worked hard with the council’s listed buildings team to reinstate and enhance its original features and have taken this neglected old building back to its former glory."
The chain has three outlets in Bristol as well as Bath, Honiton, Barnstaple, Exeter and Worcester. It is looking at further expansion and is being advised by property specialists Jones Lang LaSalle.
