National law firm Bevan Brittan has strengthened its Bristol office with two appointments. Ben Harris joins as an associate in the corporate team while Gemma Nash arrives as a solicitor.
Ben, pictured, is an experienced corporate lawyer and joins from Gregg Latchams in Bristol. He specialises in advising start-ups and SMEs on a wide range of issues including share sales, asset sales, funding rounds and joint ventures.
At Bevan Brittan he will work once more with corporate partner Marti Burgess, who also joined the firm last September from Gregg Latchams.
She said: “I am delighted that Ben is joining our team. From my prior experience of working with him, he is a highly capable and accomplished lawyer and will be a great asset to us in advising our clients.”
Gemma, pictured, becomes a member of the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution team having previously worked at Covington & Burling in London. She has a focus on data protection, cyber security and artificial intelligence (AI) issues, particularly in the life sciences and technology sectors.
Bevan Brittan partner and Bristol office head Rosemary Jago said: “I am very happy to welcome Ben and Gemma to Bevan Brittan.
“Within the Bristol office we employ nearly 300 people and these talented lawyers will be joining teams that are active in the Bristol market and supporting clients nationwide, bringing our clients the support they need in these critical times.”
Bevan Brittan also has offices in Birmingham, Leeds and London.
