Bristol-based customer relationship marketing (CRM) agency Armadillo has joined The Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) in a move that will further develop the skills of its 45-strong team.
As an IPA member, Armadillo will connect with other 266 agencies representing the best of UK advertising and marketing in all its forms.
Through its membership, Armadillo will also seek to support staff development with the IPA’s industry-recognised CPD (continuing professional development) and training – enabling its team to develop their skills and progress in their careers, whatever their level.
Since its launch more than 25 years’ experience, Armadillo has helped major brands such as McDonald’s, Disney, Carnival UK and hotels.com develop profitable connections with their customers.
It does this by building creative CRM campaigns that use latest technology to create digital communications based on real data insights.
It said membership of the IPA acted as a further indicator of the agency’s success in the marketing and advertising industry and demonstrated its commitment and professionalism within the sector.
IPA member agencies are responsible for more than 85% of all UK advertising spend.
Armadillo CEO James Ray, pictured, said: “Once the preserve of a select type of agency, the term advertising is wide-reaching today and reflects great work that resonates and has an impact on its audience.
“We’re extremely pleased to be joining an organisation that supports and celebrates the best in the industry and are keen to aid and enable our team to develop themselves professionally and personally through our membership with the IPA.”
IPA director of membership and professional development Patrick Mills added: “We’re thrilled to have Armadillo back in IPA membership, and joining our thriving South West and Wales community. We very much look forward to working with them.”
