Empica, one of the Bristol area’s longest-established PR and communications agencies, has been appointed to act for two organisations at the opposite ends of life.

The Wraxall-based agency is now working with fertility treatment provider Bristol Centre for Reproductive Medicine (BCRM) and Bristol Memorial Woodlands, pictured, which provides a beautiful setting for funerals and burials at its rural location near Alveston, South Gloucestershire.

Empica managing director Martin Powell said the ‘cradle-to-grave’ appointments reflected how important good communications were at all stages of life.

“With the Bristol Centre for Reproductive Medicine we will be shaping messages for people who want to conceive and who have fertility problems and with Bristol Memorial Woodlands we are dealing with grief, how to mourn loved ones and remembering people after death,” he said.

“It is exciting to have two Bristol-based organisations that provide services for the whole region at opposite ends of life appoint us within days of each other.”

Bristol Centre for Reproductive Medicine, based at Southmead Hospital, is the longest-established fertility clinic in Bristol with the best success rates. It helps both NHS and private patients from across the South West and Wales with fertility treatment.

Memorial Woodlands offers families an unhurried funeral for their loved ones allowing people an opportunity to say goodbye at their own pace.

Burial plots are provided and trees planted to create a woodland that is held in trust for the future, which people can visit at any time.

Empica, which has been providing PR and marketing for 30 years, works with clients such as law firm Clarke Willmott, Bristol Private Equity Club and Bristol Hoteliers Association to build their reputations, differentiate their services and engage more effectively with their clients and customers.

The words, pictures and videos created by the agency are featured regularly across the internet, in newspapers and magazines, on TV and radio and on social and digital channels.
