Bristol-headquartered law firm Gregg Latchams has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of Bridget Juckes as an associate director in its corporate and commercial department.
Bridget, pictured, has joined from multi-office Bristol firm Wards where, over the past 20 years she has held senior roles, including head of company and head of business services, growing the commercial and corporate offering into a well-recognised practice.
She trained at Withers in London after obtaining a Law degree from the University of Cambridge. She moved to Taylor Garrett (now Taylor Wessing) on qualification in 1985 and three years later joined Lyons Davidson in Bristol.
With a total of 35 years’ experience, Bridget has brought a wealth of experience in dealing with SME owner-managed businesses, particularly in the care home, hotel and retail sector.
She advises on all aspects of corporate and commercial law, with expertise in both share and asset sales and purchases, business structures and company reorganisations, including complex share issue and transfer arrangements and share buy-back arrangements as well as bespoke drafting of articles of association and associated shareholder agreements.
In her new role at Gregg Latchams, which also has an office in London, she will further enhance the firm’s prospective growth into new markets with her pragmatic approach and specialist skill set.
Gregg Latchams also said her appointment demonstrated its focus and commitment to its future growth as well as reinforcing its position with legal experts in a variety of sectors.
