Bristol influencer marketing agency Fourth Floor Creative has appointed Robert Price, the former MD and SVP of home entertainment for 20th Century Fox UK, as chairman.
Robert, pictured, spent almost a decade at the media giant until its takeover by Disney last March. Prior to that he was managing director of Bath-based special-interest publishing group Future, where he worked for 12 years, and has also held senior marketing positions at media, gaming and entertainment companies, including Emap and Pearson New Entertainment Video.
Fourth Floor helps brands reach consumers by building partnerships with influential social media content creators and enables creators to connect more effectively with their audiences.
Based in Bristol with representatives in Bordeaux, Toronto and Brighton, it doubled in size last year – and counts gaming businesses such as 2K, Bethesda, Codemasters, Facepunch, Square Enix and Take 2 among its roster.
It created content for brands last year that reached more than 70m consumers.
Fourth Floor’s services include planning and running campaigns, advocacy programs, event management and merchandising. It is launching a French subsidiary and it will also focus on other areas outside of gaming – including food and entertainment.
Robert Price said influencer marketing was an incredibly exciting, fast-developing sector and Fourth Floor founder and CEO Rich Keith and his team had done “a fantastic job” building their business quickly.
“This is a great company to get involved with – bringing skills and experience to help take it to the next level while learning from some incredibly talented people,” he added
Rich Keith, who also worked at Future as a publisher and editor, formed Fourth Floor just over two years ago. He was previously chief revenue officer at Bristol-based Yogscast, social video company behind the world’s largest gaming YouTube channel.
He said: “We’ve had an incredible two years, and there are significant opportunities ahead for us in 2020. Once I knew Robert was interested in what we were doing, it was a perfect opportunity to get him involved.
“With so much experience at the highest levels and a vast contacts book – we’re looking forward to having him help guide our next phase of growth.”
