Property adviser Savills has strengthened its planning team in Bristol with the appointment of Sean Lewis as a senior planner.
Sean, pictured, joins from the Bristol head office of town planning and development consultancy Tetlow King, where he worked as a senior planner for more than four years.
He started his planning career in London, working for an independent consultancy in Ealing, and gained a Master’s degree in Planning from UWE in 2014.
Sean said: “The move to Savills represented a great opportunity for me to get involved in a huge variety of projects, reflecting the diverse and exciting nature of the development sector in Bristol. I am thrilled to progress my career in a global firm and in a city I know and am passionate about.”
Sean joins Savills’ 14-strong Bristol planning department at the same time as George Lewis is appointed as a graduate planner. George is currently completing a Master’s degree in Urban Planning at UWE and will support the team across its broad portfolio of project work, which include urban regeneration schemes in Bristol city centre such as the 26-storey Castle Park View residential scheme, and strategic land including The Vale – the 720-acre, 4.500-home development on the South West edge of Bristol.”
Head of Bristol planning Craig O’Brien said: “Sean’s experience and expertise adds to the breadth and depth of service we offer our clients, across residential and commercial sectors.
“Our department in Bristol has grown considerably in recent years, reflecting the range and scale of projects we are working on.”
