Regional accountancy group Bishop Fleming’s corporate audit director Ria Burridge has been promoted to partner less than three years after joining the firm.
Ria, who is based in Bishop Fleming’s Bristol office, takes up her new role from June 1. The firm said the promotion was in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the firm together with her strong focus on delivering client service.
Ria is a qualified accountant with two decades of proven experience in the audit profession, having developed her strong technical skills in Big Four firm EY’s Bristol office, where she worked with a diverse range of clients from owner-managed businesses to large corporates in the area and beyond.
Born in Bristol, Ria was educated and has spent her career in the city. She joined Bishop Fleming in Bristol in 2016 and has since worked with a wide range of businesses of all sizes in the South West and beyond.
Bishop Fleming said Ria was known for her proactivity with clients, keeping them informed of emerging issues and bringing in other specialists from the firm to assist clients achieve their long-term business goals and objectives.

Bishop Fleming employs nearly 350 staff across its seven offices, which stretch from Truro to Worcester.
As well as appearing in The Sunday Times Best 100 Companies to Work For table for the past four years, the firm also has a Gold status award from the independent customer services agency Investor in Customers for its ‘exceptional’ service to clients.
