Hundreds of business people from across the region are today heading to Rabbit South West, the region’s most innovative business exhibition.

Delegate registrations for the show at Brunel’s Old Station, Temple Meads have doubled over the past week and were still rising strongly today.

Businesses from across the West of England will be attending the event, offering a not-to-be-missed opportunity to network and build relationships with companies.

But the show is much more than this. Through its range of seminars and workshops it will provide a fantastic opportunity to learn from leading figures in the marketing and business growth sectors.

Seminars include The Business Case for Brand, delivered by Steve Fuller, creative director at Bath-based branding agency The House. The seminar will give delegates the chance to learn how to transform their business and boost their bottom line through the power of their brand.

Steve has worked for more than 15 years with businesses of all sizes, from world-famous consumer brands such as Swatch and Jack Daniel’s through to local charities like Julian House.

Steve believes that it is not the size of the organisation that matters – it’s about getting to the heart of the brand and at this seminar, delegates will be able to identify the most powerful aspects of their brand.

Steve will then show how to use these ingredients to create ideas that will develop brand power and ultimately grow the business.

Peter Hawtin, managing director of Swindon marketing agency Brand New Way, will also be sharing his expertise in a seminar with the theme ‘Effective email marketing campaigns that attract and keep valuable customers’.

For more than 20 years, Peter has pioneered new ways to boost sales for small companies as well as some of Britain’s leading brands such as Asda, RAC, egg, AA, HBoS and ITV.

He will deliver a practical seminar showing how email marketing can cost effectively convert sales leads and will take delegates through the development of powerful email campaigns that get noticed, opened and clicked.

He will also discuss the importance of data segmentation, how to measure the success of a campaign and, ultimately, how to attract and keep valuable customers.

Also on the bill is Dan Maudhub, managing director at Wonderful Creative Agency who will be speaking on ‘The potential and power of social media’.

Twitter; LinkedIn; YouTube; many companies believe just having an account is enough. It’s not – and Dan’s interactive presentation will show how companies can harness the potential and power of all forms of social media and online communications to increase sales enquiries and grow brands.

The workshop-style seminar will educate and inspire growing companies. An ever increasing form of communication, social media activity has become a key tool for relationship building, corporate communication and business development and Dan's workshop is aimed at showing delegates how to maximise these tools.

Delegates will learn how to: Set the right strategy and policy; set up and implement a social media campaign; and manage and measure the success of these campaigns.

Doors open at 10am and there is still time to register as a delegate for the event. Go to www.rabbitevents.co/delegates to book a free place.
