Property specialist Vickery Holman is continuing to expand in the South West by opening a Bristol office and appointing experienced senior surveyor Paul Matthews to its team.
Paul brings more than 37 years’ experience in the property markets of South West England and South Wales to his new role. He has joined Vickery Holman from Bruton Knowles, where he worked for more than five years and expanded its Bristol office.
He has also worked in the Bristol offices of BNP Paribas, NAI Fuller Peiser and Chesterton.
Paul said: “Bristol is a thriving city seeing strong growth. Over the last 10 years, we’ve seen Bristol outperform many UK cities as it attracts lots of business start-ups, has low unemployment and strong growth in economic output per worker.
“I am delighted to be joining Vickery Holman as they continue to develop their Bristol office and to help service the growing workload.
“In this period while we wait to see how Brexit goes, Vickery Holman is in an excellent position to advise investors and developers. Our property knowledge right across the South West allows us to see the bigger picture while retaining our local focus. Not only that, but our structure means that we don’t delegate work down the line. We deliver a personal service and exceptionally good value.”
Vickery Holman director Robert Beale said Paul added a lot of value to the team.
“His extensive experience means he has joined our specialist dispute resolution team as well as adding his considerable skills to the valuation team in Bristol,” he said.
Vickery Holman was set up in 1992 and now employs more than 60 people across its four South West offices in Truro, Plymouth Exeter and Bristol.
