Bristol entrepreneur Adil Ayub has returned to the area of the city where he grew up to launch a property letting agency.
Adil, who has been in the property business for 10 years and boasts ex-Dragons’ Den star James Caan as a business mentor, has expanded his business empire with the opening of residential lettings and property management firm Let’s Rent Bristol in Bedminster.
He said: “I remember playing on my skateboard as a youngster in Victoria Park but never imagined that one day I would become a leading businessman in the area.”
The 27-year-old already runs several other successful businesses and is a member of the Entrepreneur Business Academy, led by Mr Caan.
“I have used their advice to help me succeed,” he said. “I have devoted my life to business. Launching Let’s Rent Bristol in Bedminster is the icing on the cake for me, as I am back where I grew up.”
Mr Caan said: “Adil is living proof that with the right attitude, right training and determination great things are possible, even during an economic downturn.
“I applaud his achievement in business so far and wish him well for the future.”
Lord Mayor of Bristol Geoff Gollop was among guests at the official opening ceremony at the firm’s renovated North Street premises.
He said: “When I came into office one of the things I wanted to do was to support anybody who was helping to create business, success and jobs because that is the only way that we can ensure Bristol maintains its prosperity and find our way out of recession.”
Adil is also collaborating with some of UK’s largest residential property landlords to launch Property Options: the Total Property Solutions Club, a scheme to help first-time buyers get onto the property ladder and assist investors and those affected by negative equity.
