Carterwood, the Bristol-based specialist property consultancy dedicated to social care, has celebrated starting its 10th trading anniversary this year by making four senior promotions.
The firm, which has grown to become a nationally recognised and innovative advisor in the healthcare sector, has promoted associate Alex Taylor to director, while principal agent Tom Hartley and principal surveyor Matthew Drysdale become associate directors and HR and facilities manager Jane Thackray has been appointed as head of central services.
Aztec West-based Carterwood was founded by Amanda Nurse and Ben Hartley to work exclusively in the long-term healthcare sector, specialising in the adult social care market.
Today it advises most of the top 20 operators across the elderly care sector and works for the majority of the top 10 voluntary operators.
Clients range from banks and financial institutions, corporate and private operators and investors to developers, not-for-profit providers and the public sector.
It also has strong links with key sector bodies, including the National Care Forum, Care England, Housing LIN and ARCO.
Amanda said: “The vision and values that Ben and I shared when we set up Carterwood have served us well and have led the business to being able to enter our 10th anniversary with another record year, with everyone in the team playing their part in taking us to this great position.
