Bristol-based specialist law firm DAS Law has recruited two experienced practitioners – Paul Morrison and Katie Dennis – to its personal injury (PI) department’s leadership team.
The firm is part of DAS UK, the Bristol-headquartered legal expenses insurer, and has one of the largest claimant PI departments in the region.
Paul and Katie have arrived as it undertakes a wide transformation programme.
Paul, who has joined as principle associate, brings more than 30 years’ experience to the practice, having headed litigation departments at large regional and national firms, including Shoosmiths in London, where he was national head of mixed liability claims, and most recently Tollers in Northampton, where he was head of its personal injury and clinical negligence department.
He will assume management and leadership of DAS Law’s uninsured loss recovery, portal, and fast track motor teams and will provide wide ranging technical and process development expertise.
Katie takes up the role of operations manager within DAS Law’s PI department. An operations specialist with 13 years’ experience in the industry, she joins from international firm DAC Beachcroft where she held the role of performance manager in its Newport office.
Paul and Katie will report to its DAS Law’s head of personal injury Samantha Brown.
DAS Law managing director James Christacos said: “These are strong additions to our senior team in the personal injury department and I am pleased to welcome them both. Strategic appointments like this make a real statement and will enhance the quality of our customer offering.”
