Law firm Ashfords has appointed Graham Cridland as a partner to join its expanding planning team.
Mr Cridland joins Ashfords, which has offices in Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth, Taunton, Tiverton and London, from Exeter firm Michelmores, where he was a partner and head of planning.
Mr Cridland, who specialises in planning, highways, environmental and compulsory purchase law, began his career with Ashfords when the firm was part of Bevan Ashford and has also worked as a solicitor for Mid-Devon, Torbay and Exeter City councils.
Ashfords partner and head of the planning team John Bosworth said: “Graham is widely recognised for his expertise and he has advised on many major development projects in the South West and further afield.”
