Bristol wealth management firm Whitechurch Securities has expanded its investment team with the appointment of Tom Sayers as a senior investment manager.
Tom, pictured, previously worked at Beaufort Securities, where he headed the Bristol office and was instrumental in building the firm’s presence in the South West. 
He brings with him considerable investment management experience and a strong awareness of the wealth management environment.
He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments (CISI) and has more than 11 years’ experience looking after the day-to-day running of client portfolios.
Tom’s appointment will create increased capacity to further develop and expand Whitechurch’s personally tailored service, which offers Discretionary Fund Management (DFM) services to high net worth clients.
Under the personally tailored service, which Whitechurch has provided since 1990, the firm’s investment managers work closely with intermediaries who seek to outsource the investment management of their clients’ assets – with a minimum investment of £250,000.
Such clients may also require specific investment/tax planning criteria. The service is also suited to managing mandates for pension funds, trusts and charities.
Whitechurch managing director Gavin Haynes said: “Bespoke solutions require personal day-to-day attention and we were getting close to capacity in the number of bespoke portfolios the team could manage effectively.
“Tom will work within the Whitechurch investment team to ensure clients continue to receive the consistency of the Whitechurch investment approach while having a dedicated investment manager to ensure a high quality of service.”
