Bristol-headquartered national law firm TLT is to take its total number of directors to a record 117 with the promotion of seven associates and one legal director.
Effective from next Monday, May 1, the promotions include property litigation lawyer Matthew Forrest, employment lawyer Siobhan Fitzgerald, commercial lawyers Dan Read and Patrick Sweeney, real estate lawyers Matthew Grimwood and Patrick Sheehan, corporate lawyer Antonia Silvestri and commercial dispute resolution lawyer Victoria Mabbett.
The firm, Bristol’s third largest, has also promoted four real estate associates – Alison Blades, Rachel Channer, Fergus Charlton and Sarah Ewing – to legal director with 17 solicitors promoted to associate.
Senior partner Andrew Glynn said: “This is our largest round of promotions in a number of years, signifying the growth of the firm across the UK.
“We attribute that growth to the dedication and hard work of our people, and are pleased to be able to recognise and reward it. It is also notable that an increasing number of those promoted have flexible working arrangements, and the firm continues to explore these and other methods of retaining talent within the business.”
TLT, which employs around 1,000 people in its offices in Bristol, London, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Belfast, achieved revenue growth of 45% in the three years to last April. Its headcount increased by 60% over the same period.
Managing partner David Pester has this month taken up his sixth three-year term as managing partner and is introducing a new three-year plan for the firm during which it will open its new landmark head office, created by transforming and extending its existing One Redcliff Street base into around 90,000 sq ft of modern, collaborative work space designed to support the firm’s approach to agile working.
