TLT, the national law firm with its headquarters in Bristol, has acted for the shareholders of Conveyancing Alliance Holdings on the sale of their shares to ULS Technology.
Conveyancing Alliance Holdings is the parent company of Conveyancing Alliance, which operates an online platform connecting estate agents, mortgage brokers and their clients with conveyancers. ULS Technology provides online B2B platforms for the UK conveyancing and financial intermediary markets.
ULS Technology paid £7.2m in cash with an earn-out until March 31, 2019 to be wholly satisfied in cash.
The TLT team was led by associate Nina Searle, pictured, and included tax partner Nathan Williams, real estate associate Edward Pitt and employment solicitor Cecily Donoghue.
Conveyancing Alliance selling shareholder and a director Harpal Singh said: “The team at TLT were excellent. They were on the front foot throughout the process; meticulously diligent and very easy to work with.
“They successfully worked to a very tight timetable. Not being a lawyer, my biggest surprise was the clarity of their communication. I knew exactly where we were every step of the way.”
The deal is the latest in what has been a busy time for TLT’s 30-strong corporate team, which recently advised boohoo.com on its acquisition of 66% of the issued share capital of PrettyLittleThing.
It also advised the management team at internet infrastructure and IT company M247 on its sale to Metronet (UK), the UK’s fastest growing network services provider.
