Inside Media, the Bristol-based communication agency, has won five awards and was named Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy at the PR industry’s regional ‘Oscars’.
Inside Media scooped four Gold and one Silver at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) South of England and Channel Islands’ PRide Awards. In total it was shortlisted for seven categories – a record year for the consultancy.
The awards recognise agencies and in-house communication teams for their commitment to deliver impactful campaigns that help to achieve clients’ business objectives.
Inside Media has a track record of winning CIPR awards. Since 2010, it has been a finalist in 30 categories and now is the proud owner of nine Gold and nine Silver awards from the communication industry body, the CIPR
It is also the only agency to ever be shortlisted for Outstanding PR Consultancy and Outstanding Small Consultancy on three separate occasions.
Inside Media managing director and founder Simon Russell said: “Winning industry acclaim from our peers is a fantastic endorsement to the work we have done for our clients over many years.
“That we have been consistently recognised over the last six years is testament to consistently high standards and producing great work by putting the objectives of our clients at the centre of everything we do.”
Earlier this year, Inside Media was a finalist at the national CIPR Excellence Awards for the quality of work it has delivered for the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean Tourism Association.
Simon Russell added: “Understanding what is important to the people we support, thinking creatively how that might have appeal and then expertly executing a plan is what we do. Perhaps not rocket science but we work hard to get it right.”
Working within SWNS (South West News Service) Inside Media differs from other communication consultancies in the region as the team works alongside news reporters, feature writers, photographers and video/TV production professionals.
The awards were staged at Bristol’s Marriott City Centre Hotel.
