Digital agency Fat Media has hired three new graduates in the digital marketing and client services departments of its Bristol office.
Fraser Andrews, Sophie Weaver and Jennifer Boyce are the first to be recruited via a new scheme started by the agency this year that aims to find the best local design talent.
Fat Media HR and talent manager Emma Bowden said: “Our selection process puts graduates through their paces to reveal the creativity, passion and drive of each and every candidate, all things that make a successful ‘Fattie’.
“When they join us, we are committed to helping graduates discover the right path in Fat Media, whether it’s client services, production, graphic design or IT, matching key personality traits and aspirations to their perfect role.
“We encourage all our graduates to step out of their comfort zone and discover different roles, to ensure they have a full well rounded knowledge of how Fat Media operates.”
The new Bristol recruits live locally or were students who met the Fat Media HR team at university job fairs. They have joined the 40-strong Bristol team.
Ms Bowden added: “We believe there’s a wealth of talent coming out of colleges and universities, which we can refine and develop into our future leaders.
“Our graduates contribute to our young and vibrant team, bringing fresh new ideas and a different perspective from someone who has already worked in the industry.”
Fat Media was established in 2005 and has grown to become one of the largest agencies of its type in the North, employing 140 people.
It has two offices in Lancaster, including its head office, and a base in London.
Last year it acquired long-running Bristol content marketing firm Strategy Digital in Brislington, which it now runs as its Bristol office.
Clients include household brands such as Typhoo, OCS, Samsung, Jessops and JD Sports.
