Around 60 clients and guests of the investment management, accountancy and tax group Smith & Williamson attended a drinks reception at the Colston Hall in Bristol before being treated to a special performance by the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra.
The performance, sponsored by the firm’s Bristol-based private client team, was led by world renowned conductor and music director Pavel Kogan and featured an eclectic mix of Russian and Soviet classical music with European and American influences.
Ian Richley, a partner in the investment management team at Smith & Williamson’s Bristol office, said: “It was a wonderful evening and the music was riveting and very moving in places.
“It was certainly different and provided a great opportunity to get together with clients, contacts and colleagues in an informal and highly enjoyable setting.”
The Moscow State Symphony Orchestra’s Bristol performance was part of a UK tour supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
