Osborne Clarke takes on IT and data protection specialist from Bond Dickinson

International law firm Osborne Clarke has strengthened its Bristol office’s commercial team with the appointment of Will Robertson as partner.

Will, pictured, joins from the Bristol office of Bond Dickinson, where he was worked for 14 years, including four as a partner.

He has expertise in IT and data protection and a wide range of commercial skills, including IT outsourcing and advising large corporates on technology projects.

He also has experience in the retail sector, where he sits at the forefront of how technology drives change and competitive advantage in a challenging and highly competitive area.

His appointment is one of two new senior advisor hirings. Media and internet disputes specialist Ashley Hurst has joined the commercial and regulatory disputes team in the firm’s London office from Olswang, where he was a partner for nearly four years in the media litigation team.
