Bristol-based law firm Veale Wasbrough Vizards (VWV) has been awarded the Investors in People Bronze accreditation for the second consecutive time in recognition of the way it develops, supports and motivates staff.
The firm, which also has offices in London, Birmingham and Watford, will now focus on achieving the Silver standard in its next assessment. 
Recognised internationally, Investors in People has set the standard for better people management since 1991 and reflects the best practices in high-performance working.
The Bronze award is achieved by just over 5% of IIP organisations, of which there are 35,000 in more than 50 countries.
VWV said it had demonstrated that its commitment to developing its staff to reach their full potential was central to its high-quality service.
From webinars on the latest legal developments, to hands-on training on new IT systems, or seminars on a range of personal and professional skills, the firm develops structured plans for each individual, all supplemented by mentoring and coaching.

VWV’s expansion was boosted in January when it took on a 30-strong team of commercial lawyers from Matthew Arnold & Baldwin (MAB) in Watford.
