The Bristol office of national chartered surveyor and property consultancy Sanderson Weatherall has been further strengthened with the appointment of Anthony Turner to the role of associate partner.
Anthony, pictured, who previously worked for West and Wales chartered valuation surveyors Andrew Forbes, brings a wealth of additional expertise to the Bristol office’s valuation team. He has more than 25 years’ experience covering commercial and residential valuation, arbitration, compulsory purchase, expert witness and landlord & tenant.
Anthony said: “I am delighted to have joined Sanderson Weatherall’s Bristol team and being part of a successful and growing valuation department.
“My main role will focus on secured lending valuations for major lending institutions across all commercial and residential property sectors and a broad range of professional work. I am looking forward to further strengthening Sanderson Weatherall’s client relationships in the South West and South Wales.
“My specialism is in the leisure sector, covering all aspects of valuation and professional work, I’ll be working on projects with specialist property assets including hotels, licenced premises, restaurants and other trade related properties. It’s a fascinating time for the leisure industry in the post-recessionary environment and I am confident that my expertise will provide our clients with the high quality service they expect from Sanderson Weatherall.”
Working alongside partner Mark Sheridan, Anthony will expand the team’s combined knowledge, experience and client base, particularly in the leisure, expert witness, arbitration and compulsory purchase sectors.
Mark added: “We are very fortunate to have someone of Anthony’s experience joining the team. His experience will help us to provide greater depth to the services we offer from our Bristol office and to develop our position within the market and continue to develop client relationships.”
Sanderson Weatherall employs around 200 people – eight of them in Bristol – and has a turnover of £15m. It operates nationwide from offices in Newcastle, Teesside, Darlington, York, Leeds, Manchester, London, Bristol and Exeter and recently opened in Birmingham.
It provides a complete range of property, machinery and business asset services across retail, residential, offices, industrial, leisure, roadside, healthcare, public sector and third sector.
