Each week Bristol Business News lets a prominent member of the area’s business community have the last word on its weekly e-bulletin.

This week Peter Clough, head of Osborne Clarke’s Bristol office, answers our 10 questions.

What was the LAST:

Film you watched? Amy – a brilliantly put together documentary about Amy Winehouse’s rise to fame and her sad descent. Really moving stuff, and containing some important lessons for all of us.

Book you read? The Master and the Margarita by Bulgakov – masterful satire, and a great read for anyone interested in a different take on 20th century Russian history.

Music you bought/downloaded? Radio 1’s Live Lounge 2015.

Concert or play you went to? Sleeping Beauty at the Old Vic with my family. A fantastic production and a very good advert for what Bristol can offer.

Sporting event you attended? Bristol City v West Brom in the FA Cup with my son and his mates – 1-0 to West Brom, unfortunately!

Holiday you went on? Sailing in the British Virgin Islands.

Restaurant you ate in? The Souk Kitchen on Apsley Road.

Thing that annoyed you? The rain (again)…

Thing that made you laugh out loud? A ‘lookalike’ sent to me by my very funny colleague Charlie, who sits next to me in the office.

Piece of good advice you were given? “Go home – it’s late”.

Peter Clough moved to Osborne Clarke in 1996, having previously worked in London. He was born and brought up in St Ives. He became head of Osborne Clarke’s Bristol office in September, having previously been head of the firm’s litigation group.
