Bristol-based specialist recruitment firm Rosemont is expanding with the appointment of Mark Hooper and Andy Cooper to the team.
Mark Hooper joins as an associate in the construction practice to support Rosemont’s continued presence in the construction and built environment sector.
Andy Cooper will head up the firm’s new consulting engineering division.
Mark arrives from TMP Worldwide where he was operations manager with specific responsibility for the group’s Virgin Media account. Prior to that, he spent four years in business development with The Prospects Group, which offers education, employment and skills services to young people and adults, often through third parties such as the Department for Work and Pensions and the Skills Funding Agency.
He has also worked as a senior consultant in construction placement with both Options Employment Solutions and Meridian Business Support. Clients while working for the latter included Pearce, DR Jones and Kier.
Andy has 13 years’ experience in recruitment and joins from Altran UK’s software engineering and engineering services division, where he specialised in talent acquisition within software development, design, manufacturing, stress & structural analysis and project management for clients including Atkins. Previously he worked for Logical Personnel Solutions and the RSG Group.
Rosemont managing director Craig Davidge, who founded the business in 2012, said: “We are expanding rapidly in response to the current high demand for good quality candidates at mid to senior management level as the building and construction sector continues to recover and grow, both commercially and domestically.
“We are experiencing a particular need for expertise in providing resource in consulting engineering, which is why we have introduced this as a new practice within the business.
“The importance of an added value candidate experience has never been so important. Creativity and flexibility is essential for successful senior appointment hires in today’s candidate driven market.”
