Anyone looking to start or grow their own business can get expert advice at the South Bristol Business and Jobs Fair being staged on Wednesday at the Filwood Green Business Park.

The event, which is also aimed at heling people find work or an apprenticeship, takes place between 9.30am and 3pm at the recently-opened business park off Hengrove Way.

Event partners include Bristol City Council, City of Bristol College, the West of England Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), Business West, the Department for Work and Pensions, Knowle West Media Centre, Bristol Junior Chamber, Make More Margin, and the Federation of Small Businesses.

Among the businesses and organisations involved on the day will be Avon and Somerset Police, Computershare, ASDA Whitchurch, Brandon Trust, Jeff Way Electrical, Allied Healthcare, Blue Arrow and Leung and Co Solicitors.

The event follows the successful South Bristol Business Conference staged earlier this year.
