Hotel industry veteran Elaine De Paola has been appointed sales manager at DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House, near Congresbury.
She said: “I stayed with Jarvis for 16 years and helped oversee many changes including the takeover by Ramada Hotels.
"I am already enjoying my new role at Cadbury House and the challenges it has thrown up. As an independently-owned venue it is very different from the Ramada portfolio and I am looking forward to seeing the sales grow."
Cadbury House is the only venue of its kind with four-star accommodation, premier conference facilities, a Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill and health club and spa all within the same grounds.
Its 350-space car park also means it is popular as a venue for corporate conferences and meetings.
