West of England law firm Ashfords is to increase its intake of trainee solicitors over the next three years as a result of continued growth.
The firm, which has six offices including one in Bristol, is now looking for five more trainees to join it this September and in September next year, and 15 trainees in September 2017.
The firm has invested in an internal learning and development programme, called the Ashfords Academy, to help staff expand their knowledge and skills base, and is introducing a number of initiatives to improve staff engagement.
Partner Ruth Murray said: “We are delighted to be able to offer additional trainee intake places for Ashfords as it reflects our continued success and growth within the firm. We have always regarded our trainees as our future partners, so this is an investment in the firm’s future.”
Last month Ashfords took on five of its current trainees as newly-qualified solicitors.
The firm’s head of human resources, Ken Bryant, added: “This is a very exciting opportunity for Ashfords and we are looking forward to welcoming the additional trainees on board in September.”
As well as Bristol, Ashfords has offices in London, Exeter, Taunton, Plymouth and Tiverton.
