Law firm Foot Anstey’s corporate team has been named as the most active legal advisers, by volume, in the South West in independent research.
The report by global information services group Experian places the team at the top of the region’s table of advisers with 35 transactions completed last year. It acted on a range of transactions for a wide variety of businesses.
Foot Anstey also features in Experian’s UK-wide Legal Adviser League Table Top 20. 
The report shows overall deal volumes in the South West increased at a faster rate (up to 436 deals from 409 in 2013) than in the UK as a whole. While the report includes only those deals that are made public by the company or advisers, it is viewed as an accurate reflection of the companies and advisers in the region.
The Foot Anstey team is led by Chris Worrell, pictured, who said: “This has been a year of significant growth and development for the team.
