Bristol law firm Burges Salmon has continued to expand its pensions team with four new appointments. Crispin Freeman, Charlotte Osmond, Amy Davies and Stacey Yon have joined following sustained growth across the firm’s pension client base.
Crispin joins as a senior associate from Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co while Charlotte, who trained at Linklaters, arrives as a newly-qualified solicitor.
Amy and Stacey have qualified into the team having completed their training contracts with Burges Salmon. Their arrival follows the appointments earlier this year of Eve Wallace (senior associate) and Zoe Dhenin (solicitor).
Head of pensions Richard Knight said: “We are delighted to have grown the team so substantially this year. Our 40 pensions lawyers now act for over 700 pensions clients and our new recruits will help us continue to provide a top quality service and to grow further.”
With 40 lawyers, Burges Salmon’s pensions team is one of the largest in the UK, and is known for its strength in advising on regulatory, disputes, public sector and general advisory issues.
The firm represents clients in private and public sector pension schemes and helps trustees and employers with defined benefit, defined contribution and hybrid schemes. The team roster of clients includes schemes sponsored by AT&T, Cambridge University Press, the Department for Education, First UK Bus, Hampshire County Council, hibu, Honda, QinetiQ and Western Power Distribution.
