The Bristol office of property specialists Bruton Knowles has been appointed to help acquire new regional bases for Helping Hands, one of the country’s leading providers of care for the elderly.
Bruton Knowles is looking for seven offices across the UK as a first step with others planned for the future as Helping Hands expands.
Warwickshire-based Helping Hands has been providing 24-hour, live-in care for the elderly and vulnerable people for more than 20 years. The family business is now run by the sons of founder Mary Lee and employs more than 1,000 people.
It is an accredited provider of live-in care to 70-plus social services departments and the majority of NHS trusts across England and Wales.
Bruton Knowles’ Bristol head of agency Paul Williams said: “We will be looking in specific strategic locations so that Helping Hands can support and develop its nationwide network of care provision.
“Like many growth businesses it is important that the property portfolio keeps pace with the growth and is of the type and in the locations that help to support the main purpose of the business.”
