Bristol-based property consultancy Alder King has been appointed by workspace group Regus to lead its search for new business centre locations across the South West and South Wales.
The global firm, which has four sites in the Bristol area among the 300-plus it operates across the UK, is looking for further bases in the city as well as in urban centres across the region, including Bath, Swindon, Cheltenham and Taunton.
It will focus on properties between 10,000 sq ft and 15,000 sq ft in traditional central and out-of-town business locations. It is also keen to identify transport hubs, universities and shopping centres where it can open business centres as it looks to meet the needs of an increasingly-mobile workforce. Regus has a number of centres at motorway services areas including Leigh Delamere on the M4 near Chippenham.
Alder King head of agency Simon Price said: “Regus has identified untapped demand for flexible workplaces in a number of towns across the region and excessive demand in centres where it already has representation such as Bristol and Exeter.
“We will use our unrivalled knowledge of the region’s office market to help Regus expand its network and meet this demand over the next 12 months.”
Regus’ Bristol bases are at Castlemead in Lower Castle Street, at Temple Quay, at Broad Quay House in Prince Street and, out of town, at Aztec West.
