Mark Powell has joined the Bristol and Bath offices of accountancy firm Baker Tilly as an associate director as part of a significant investment in the firm's regional talent pool.
Mark, pictured, joins the accountancy and business advisory department, strengthening the experience of the team with his knowledge of IFRS and working with international businesses.
He joins from PwC where, over a 10-year period, he looked after a portfolio of clients in sectors including oil and gas, engineering, real estate, manufacturing and publishing. During this time, he also spent three years on secondment in Perth, Australia.
He brings with him significant experience of helping businesses develop financial processes and controls, as well as technical knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
Mark is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. Prior to entering the profession he was a professional cricketer with Northamptonshire County Cricket Club.
