The shortlist has been announced for the prestigious CIPR West of England PRide Awards.

The awards are the only ones of their kind to showcase the best PR work in the regions of the UK. Winners of the West of England awardsd will be announced at a black-tie dinner in Bristol on October 21.

More than 1,000 entries were submitted to this year’s awards. The judging process is rigorous with a national panel of industry experts assessing the shortlisted entries and choosing the winners.

Chair of the CIPR West of England Committee Sarah Pinch said; “I am very proud to see such a high standard of communications work highlighted in the CIPR PRide awards for 2011.

“This region is once again showing real innovation in its communications activities and delivering real results to organisations and companies across the region.

“All shortlisted organisations deserve many congratulations.”

Commenting on the shortlist, Jane Wilson, CIPR CEO, added; “The CIPR PRide Awards celebrate the best PR and campaigns from the profession across the UK.
