Bristol’s prime commercial property sites will be in the spotlight next week when around 50 mostly London-based fund managers, developers and other investment professionals get a whistle-stop tour of the city.

The event, organised by Bristol property consultants Hartnell Taylor Cook, will highlight the major transactions that have occurred in the past 12 months together with expert predictions for future activity.

In addition to viewing prominent city centre office buildings, those attending will also see the latest housing, development and retail growth sites in north Bristol, including the recently-closed Filton Airfield, Cribbs Causeway and Aztec West.

The tour will then move to Avonmouth for an overview of the city’s industrial market and finish with a river bus trip to view waterside locations such Harbourside, the Finzel’s Reach development on the former Courage Brewery site and the planned arena site at Temple Quay.

Hartnell Taylor Cook partner in charge of investment Ian Lambert said: “It is well acknowledged that, despite the UK economy still struggling, Bristol is holding its own and showing strong signs of recovery.

“This tour is a chance to showcase the city to a group of highly-influential businesses by giving them the opportunity to actually see for themselves individual buildings and locations and to educate them about the dynamics of the various sectors within Bristol.

“We’re very proud of this fantastic city and want to spread the word about what’s on offer here in order to stimulate inward investment and further economic activity.”
