Bristol online furniture retailer Contemporary Oak Furniture, which trades as Oak Furniture Solutions, has moved into a 40,953 sq ft (3,805 sq m) warehouse at Avonmouth to meet growing demand.
The new distribution hub, more than twice the size of its previous warehouse also at Avonmouth, is in the popular Nova C
entre, which is now fully let.
Contemporary Oak Furniture has taken the warehouse on a 10-year lease with a five-year break option, at a rental close to the quoting rent of £3.75 per sq ft.
The Bristol offices of property agents Knight Frank and Jones Lang LaSalle acted on behalf of landlord UBS Asset Management.
Russell Crofts of Knight Frank said: “We were able to complete the whole deal in just 10 days.
Contemporary Oak Furniture was represented by CBRE. Guy Mansfield of CBRE said: “We were delighted to have such a responsive landlord and this was key in the decision-making process of my client.”
