FRP Advisory, the specialist restructuring, recovery and insolvency firm, has bolstered its fast-growing West operation by recruiting Sam Talby as a partner from accountants Bishop Fleming Rabjohns.

The firm has also moved to new offices at the riverside Kings Orchard office building as a result of doubling in size over the past year.

Sam, pictured, brings with him more than 20 years’ restructuring and insolvency experience, acting for management and companies. Before joining Bishop Fleming he worked in London for other national mid-tier accountancy firms.

FRP Advisory’s South West & Wales operation has now more than doubled in size over the past year to a team of 11.

The team, led by partner Andrew Sheridan, mirrors the advisory offering across FRP Advisory’s national network, providing business improvement and restructuring advice working alongside on the debtor led side, company management, and supporting on the creditor led side a full array of high street bank lenders, asset based lenders and other finance houses.  As well as corporate work the team also has a strong focus on personal insolvency work.

Andrew Sheridan said: “We are delighted to welcome Sam on board who helps FRP Advisory square the circle in terms of the full range of advisory services we offer our clients.  Sam's primary focus in on the debtor led market where he brings a wealth of experience with a hands-on approach to advising companies and their management and individuals.”

Sam’s arrival coincides with additional hires to the office including experienced senior manager, Susan Evans, and administrators Anthony Druce and Jonathan Black.
