Andrews Property Services (APS), the fast-growing asset management division of Keynsham-based Andrews Estate Agents, has promoted Sue-Ellen Hodges to head the business.
Having started her career at Andrews on a temporary basis four-and-a-half years ago, Sue-Ellen, pictured, quickly became assistant head at APS, before most recently becoming its interim head to cover a colleague’s maternity leave. She was offered the role on a permanent basis when the incumbent decided not to return.
In her new role Sue-Ellen will be responsible for a 36-strong team managing the property portfolios of both corporate and large private landlords.
She said: “I’m very much looking forward to realising the potential growth of this area of the business and ensuring that we have a good spread of work to focus on.”
APS was established 2009 when a client consolidated seven managing agent contracts in to one which Andrews successfully bid for and won.
It has since grown to a size where it now fully manages anywhere between 2,000 and 2,500 properties at any one time, offering national cover with local knowledge. While its client base is distinct to that of the rest of the group, it is able to draw on the property experience across the wider Andrews family.
Sue-Ellen has recently completed the prestigious National Federation of Property Professionals (NFOPP) accreditation and is encouraging her team to do likewise.
