Renewable energy company Your Power has a new operations manager. Nick Spicer will be responsible for managing the day to day operations and logistics of the business, with a particular focus on co-ordinating the installation of solar power systems for property-owners across the region.
Nick joins from regional civil engineering firm MJ Church and was previously an infantry officer in the British Army for five years, where he had a variety of roles in operational leadership.
Nick said: “It’s an exciting time to be joining the renewable energy sector, particularly the solar energy sector. People are becoming more aware of the financial and environmental benefits of solar energy, and the sector is growing incredibly fast, particularly here in the South West.
“It’s great to be part of a motivated team at Your Power who are committed to playing their part in creating a greener and more sustainable future.”
Your Power, which is based on Victoria Street , was founded in 2010 and already has 26 employees. It designs, supplies and installs solar electric systems across the South West and South Wales .
